Bloggy Carnival Giveaway TIME!!

It is that time! Time to waste a week away (no, not waste, I've found a lot of great blogs out there from this, but you know what I mean!) commenting, adding things to your wish list, and keeping your fingers and toes crossed! I know I am desperately hoping to win a blog make-over...I've been begging my husband to do it for a long time now and he is just too busy! Plus, there are some AMAZINGLY talented ladies making some great blog layouts, designs, and headers!!

OK so here we go:

I am so excited about this giveaway, my first giveaway, I can HARDLY BREATHE! Plus this is my 100th post!!
Since my site is based on all things Green and Great (and hopefully a bargain), and the learning curve involved, I had to find something eco-fabulous for this giveaway!
What is it??

A $50.00 gift card to Stewart and Brown!!

Some info on Stewart and Brown-
The Roots In 2002 Karen Stewart and Howard Brown, partners in life and work, realized their destiny; They gave birth to a baby girl named Hazel Stewart Brown and a baby brand named Stewart+Brown. Design for Karen and Howard is a passion and a way of life. Their professional journey stems from a union of creativity and purpose. Karen, a trained painter and New York native, and Howard, a graphic artist and Montana native, oversee every aspect of the product and brand themselves. Each Stewart+Brown collection, at an elemental level, is a fusion of experiences and insights filtered through their creative core and rendered into their own unique and personal aesthetic. While finding inspiration in all aspects of life, their collaborations are primarily influenced by art, design, culture, travel, and nature.
Our Mission Stewart+Brown believes in optimizing their designs and lives to attain the highest standards of quality and functional style while extracting the bare minimum from Earth's precious capital.
Aspire to Inspire
Stewart+Brown practices and promotes a symbiotic and harmonious relationship between business, community, and nature. They aspire to apply the wisdom of sustainability to everything they do while inspiring others, just as they have been inspired, to do the same.
Giving Back Stewart+Brown donates a minimum of 1% all sales to non-profit, non-governmental environmental and social welfare organizations.

I seriously love Stewart and Brown! Right now I LIVE in the Edge Peacock Tank. Ask my sister, who is kind enough to not mention that this is the only tank top she has seen me in all summer...
I can't wait to order the Kisser Fish Tee. It looks so comfy!!
How to WIN??
Because there is a little learning curve, I'd like to know if you already wear any eco-fabulous clothes and WHERE you bought them from!! I've got a few favorites but I'd love to find some more great stores! (And if you want you can
go to Stewart and Brown and tell me what you'll spend the $50.00 on!)
Have fun, Stewart and Brown is a GREAT store! You have til August 1, 11:59pm central time to get your answer in! The winner will be randomly drawn on August 2 and emailed. Please no anonymous comments. I have to be able to contact you! Good luck and have fun!
(Thanks for visiting!!- Patti)

I have not purchased eco friendly clothing YET but would love to go this route. The pics on your post are so inviting and intriguing so I went to their website and LOVED the clothing. I'd buy the knit flared cardi for my young adult daughter---hey, I'd just give her the gc and let her go wild. Cute clothes! Thanks so much for introducing me.

The most eco-friendly clothing I have right now is probably the secondhand stuff - I don't buy a lot of new clothes to begin with, and I'm a student with a fairly small budget, so wearing things that might otherwise get thrown away is about the best I can do. If I won this, I'd probably buy a long sleeve trim tee, because I could use some high-quality basics.

All my clothes come from Freecycle, so I guess that's eco-friendly, eh? I've never actually purchased anything labeled eco-friendly. I love the length of those tops.

Rachel R. said...

I think that, so far, the only really "eco-friendly" clothing I've bought is a couple of transitional cotton t-shirts for my little girls (from Wal-Mart).

I'm hard to fit already, nursing, and on a small budget, so, unfortunately, eco-friendly falls lower on the list of clothing priorities than I would otherwise prefer. :(

I'm somewhat eco-conscious in my clothing choices in that I buy second hand (or get hand-me-downs) whenever possible & if not, I only buy natural (cotton, wool, silk rather than polyester, rayon, etc) fabrics whenever possible (the kids' winter coats & such need to be waterproof). I haven't purchased any "green" clothing - I didn't know it even existed until now. Thanks for the knowledge - and such a great giveaway! :)

Well we do buy second hand- does that count as eco friendly?? I love the Skull V neck t shirt- looks super comfy!

I don't think that I've ever bought anything specifically marketed as eco friendly, but I like to think that I'm doing my part by buying from and donating to goodwill. Although, if all the clothes looks that good, I'll have to give green clothes a try =D

I got my son some transitional cotton shirts from (of all places) Walmart. They are super cute and were only like 3.50. Unfortunately, I do not own any "green" clothing unless hand-me-downs count. Thanks!! I love looking around at S+B

I don't own any eco-fabulous clothing yet. I would use the $50 GC for the French Terry Pants in the lounge wear category. They seem so comfy while doing computer stuff plus they don't look like jammies so if a store run is needed I wouldn't have to change first.

I'm just getting started into eco friendly clothing. I'm plus sized and it's already difficult to buy any top much less a eco friendly top!

I haven't tried any eco-clothing as of yet,the clothes are just beautiful. I just watched Project Runway and they were working with green . Great giveway ,count me in ,I love the tee.

We are just learning some simple ways to start going green in our Mothers of Preschoolers group. I am working on ways to do this in my home and with my family. I could use this to make some eco-friendly purchases

I haven't bought new clothes in forever, so that is pretty eco-friendly. The last time I went shopping I hit the thrift shops. Bookmarking this for when I do go new clothes shopping.

I haven't bought any organic clothing, but I knit with organic yarn that I buy from frogeye fibre!

I'm sad to say that I own no organic clothes. I had no idea how stylish they could be...thank you for introducing me to this company.

We get organic clothes for the kids at Costco. Sounds weird, but they almost always have some organic cotton items!

I have not bought any green clothing yet, but I do cloth diaper my babies!
I like the Stewart & Brown site, I would love to win this drawing!

Let's see - I have a pair of bamboo socks. Does that count? I don't know too much about eco-friendly clothing, but I'd love to learn more. I do like to make things and try to use stuff I get from thrift stores for the fabric.

I have no organic clothes, so sad. And I really like them. Thank you for featuring them!

I like the merino tank dress but it's $225. Haha!

Wow, my daugher AKA the tree hugger would love some stuff from them. I have to loose more weight before I could though. Great blog. I am hooking up via google reader.

Well, I live in Austin, where they were 'green' before it was cool...there are lots of shops here locally, but I don't know of any websites! Happy hunting!

I don't wear any "organic" clothing. I wear all cotton T-shirts and jeans. My PJs are organic now that I think of it, but I'm ashamed to say that's all I wear that is labeld "organic".

My son wears all cotton clothing and a few organic items that I found.

You should post a list up of all the new websites you have gotten from the comments. I'd love to go shopping too.

I had some yoga clothes but my mom liked them so gave them to her and I can't think for the life of me where I got them. Sorry.
This is a great contest, thanks. We're trying to go green as we can.

I haven't looked into eco-fabulous clothes yet. Right now, I'm working on converting my cleaning, hair and skin products to good, natural stuff. :)

I'll have to bookmark all the links people have left in the comments. :)

Unfortunately I do not own any eco friendly clothing. It's a little outside my budget. However, I would be more than happy to try some. So I looked over at the store and I would have to go with organic cotton as it's so hot down here.

I think the scoop neck long sleeve tee #20081 would be nice.

I do not have any eco-friendly clothing right now. I very rarely buy new clothes, and since I don't have much money, when I do buy clothes, it's the cheapest I can find. I would love a chance to buy something eco-friendly.

In my home we've pretty much gone organic, natural etc. on everything but the clothing & I just started researching it. So I don't have a favorite yet but I'm excited about getting into it:) I love the chevron shawl vest!

I got an eco-fabulous matching set of jeans and a top at Marshalls a few weeks back here in Massachusetts.

Stewart and Brown looks really nice. I can't wait for the announcement!

I don't wear any organic clothing but I do use organic cloth diapers. I've use them on six of my seven children. That has to count for something! My favorite place to buy them is www.Wildflowerdiapers.com
